Caparo Steel Products, the largest steel conversion business in the United Kingdom, is set to make an impressive appearance at one of the most important European industry shows – the forthcoming Düsseldorf Tube and Wire Fair. Caparo Precision Tubes, Caparo Tubes Tredegar, Caparo Wire and Caparo Merchant Bar will be showcasing their comprehensive range of high quality steel solutions from 12-16th April 2010 at Hall 7 Stand 70C12.

Caparo Wire is a world class producer of wires for use in applications such as bedding/seating springs, fastener manufacture, baling products, rope manufacture and other industrial and specialised applications. It produces almost 60,000 tonnes of high quality wire annually with all products guaranteed to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and BS EN ISO 14001: 2004. Operating from three production sites in the United Kingdom, the company’s product range includes wires from 1.0mm up to 25.0mm in both plain carbon and alloy steel grades, available in a wide range of heat-treated conditions. In-depth market knowledge, combined with Caparo Wire’s purpose built facilities and specifically designed manufacturing processes, ensure that each product achieves the exact quality and performance parameters required by the customer. The UK's largest producer of steel flats and light sections, Caparo Merchant Bar markets its products primarily in bulk to steel distributors and end users domestically and in mainland Europe. With a production capacity in excess of 400,000 tonnes per annum, the company’s range includes flats, angles, channels, light beams, rounds and squares, manufactured in mild, high yield and carbon steel as well as in low alloy grades.
